Memorial Day 2015

As this day comes thoughtfully to a close. You may really ask. What does such a remembrance have to do with horsemanship. In my not so humble opinion.

I believe, everything.

Over 2000 years ago One willingly allowed Himself to be slaughtered for the freedom of His entire creation.

The United States of America was founded on that very principle. And since Her birth, many have willingly sacrificed, some paying the ultimate with their own lives, believing in that principle. That brings me to horsemanship.

If it were not for Jesus and Calvary and the multitudes of men and women in America that have put on the uniform, we would not enjoy the many rich blessings that we experience with our horses today.

Think about it.
